Cheryl Kemp

Hello, my name is Cheryl Kemp. I am a cognitive behavioural therapist and am currently registered with the BABCP.
I have worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years, currently working with patients to manage their long-term conditions; I have seen the impact personal difficulties and life experiences can have on a person's mental health. New or difficult situations can often feel overwhelming; I choose to train as a CBT therapist to help clients develop new skills to tackle such problems. I have seen how therapies can help clients learn to cope, overcome and live fuller lives.
I offer an open, friendly environment in which to discuss your problems. Your therapy will be tailored to meet your individual needs. As a nurse, I have worked with patients with various health problems and have cared for them through diagnosis and treatment. As a therapist, I have worked with clients with different psychological issues.

I have a BSc in Contemporary Nursing and an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I am registered with both the BABCP and NMC and abide by their standards of care.
